HIIT exercise

Want effective exercise that’s easy to fit into your schedule? then High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) exercise is the way to go.

The way to do HIIT is a short period of high-intensity exercise followed by a period of active recovery before repeating.

Studies show HIIT exercise can improve cardiovascular health as well as burn calories, lots of calories in as little as 10 minutes.

Try 40 seconds of full-on exercise with 20 seconds of active recovery (walking on the spot) x 10

Two of the best –

Kettlebell Swings– An incredible full-body movement (hamstrings, Glutes, Quads, Arms, Shoulders, back and core)

it will get your heart rate up but also improve mobility and strength

Use a slightly higher weight than you think you can as it will enhance this move.

Burpees- probably one of the most hated of exercises but totally effective and requires only one piece of equipment….you!

Improves co-ordination and balance, gets that heart rate up and strengthens your core.

So why not give HIIT exercise Give it a go!
